The LLOMC Main Event!
The Lizard Lounge Open Mic Main Event happens semi-annually in the Spring and Fall on a Saturday night. Winners from our Monday Night show are invited to perform for a shot at a $500 grand prize.
The rules on the stage are the same as Monday nights, but the format of the show is different. This show is run bracket style, like any sports playoffs. Two performers hit the stage and play a song, one moves on. There are three celebrity judges for this event.
Since the very first show these shows have been packed out with friends, family and peers and of course amazing music. Every show provides suspense and heart-break and every show has been a success. There is one winner, but there really are no losers. Each and every performer is respected and promoted and given the respect that they have earned and deserve.
